Movie midsommar with english subtitles pdf. To start of WOW this movie was a trip, you where constantly from start to finish unsettled and on the edge of your seat.
Something that I really aprishiated about the film was the incredible cinematography. I believe that the director took inspiration from other directors like Coppola, Bergman and especially Kubrick.
But probably the thing I liked most about the movie was the incredible attention to detail, I noticed how paintings on the walls and stuff that happened in the background revealed things that happened later in the movie.
So as I said, I loved it but I however think that most people won't like it and will find it to strange and unsettling, but if you like movies like The Shinig, Horeditary, Mother! The Hour of the Wolf or The Silence of the Lamps then you're gonna love this movie, just like me.

The entire film is spent waiting for the other shoe to drop, and when they do, you are thinking was that shoe really that big of a deal? And by the end are left in a perplexed awe.
I cannot wait to see this again to pick up on what I missed the first time.
And no, it is not Hereditary. Directors can do different films. Stop whining about it. And if you're looking for a spolier-free comparison between the two: I was not scared or frightened by what I saw as I was in Hereditary, just mostly perplexed and in awe.

I didn´t love it or hated it, some people say it is too long and I think that´s a downsize of it, the fist quarter of the movie is irrelevant for the story. The up side is the photography and the fact that everything happens during the daylight I like that a lot. It isn´t too scary to tell you the truth, but some small parts of it are indeed obscure in a good way. I would´ve loved for it to be filmed in the "wicker man" era, that would be more scary and disturbing, but it is a modern film and there´s nothing to do about it.
